A new partnership with Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies and SUNY Morrisville will allow more students to enroll in master’s degree programs at the iSchool.

The agreement provides a smooth pathway for SUNY Morrisville undergraduate students to enter residential graduate degree programs at the iSchool to earn masters’ degrees in data science, information sciences and librarianship.

“We are happy to be partners with Syracuse University in providing world-class educational opportunities,” said SUNY Morrisville Provost Suzan Harkness. “This new partnership with Syracuse iSchool provides motivated Morrisville students access to graduate education that will further their preparation to transform their lives, their communities and our future.”

Application fees for students applying from SUNY Morrisville will be waived. Additionally, students who are selected will receive a guaranteed scholarship ranging from 25% to 50% of tuition charges, with the possibility of further consideration for additional scholarships.

“The partnership is a testament to our shared vision of nurturing excellence in information science,” said Tony Contento, dean of the School of Agriculture, Business & Technology at SUNY Morrisville.
