Take
2.0 g of an air-dry soil sample and place in a 250 mL Erlenmeyer
flask. |

20 mL of Ammonium Acetate solution and shake for 5 minutes on a
reciprocating shaker at 180 oscilations per minute. |

Filter
the solution through a filter paper (number 42) into the
filtration vials. |

0.5 mL of Ammonium Acetate extract with Eppendorf pipette and
transfer it into a beaker. |

Add
10 mL of Strontium Chloride solution and mix. |

Read
the standard solutions and the samples using an atomic
absorption machine. |
