Students
enrolled in Dairy Management - B.Tech. Curriculum
benefit from several facilities
available on campus, including a state-of-the-art dairy
complex which houses more than 200 milking cows. This facility includes a
state-of-the-art milking parlor and a multipurpose classroom hooked up to
new dairy cattle management software. The college also owns more
that 500 acres of crop farm to raise feed for the animals.
As part of
their B.Tech. programs, students will enroll at Cornell university for one
semester during their third year. The "Cornell Dairy Management
Experience" is an articulation agreement between our School and
Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The
one-semester residency will allow the student to take upper level courses
in Animal Science and Farm Business Management. |
