Contest Description and Objectives
The purpose of this contest is to stimulate interest in agricultural business careers and evaluate the student's grasp of the terminology and analytical skills required in the analysis and management of agriculturally related businesses.
The contest will consist of two parts, a true/false-multiple choice section of 25 questions and a
problem solving section.Pre Contest Preparation
Review the objectives and definitions of economic terms used in the national FFA Farm Business contest.
Team Composition
3 students per team with the low score from each team dropped from the final team score.
Contest Rules
1. Each contestant must work individually.
2. Each contestant may use a non-programmable calculator furnished by the contestant.
3. Partial credit will be given for correct problem set up even if the problem is not solved
correctly.Contest Location and Starting Times
Marshall Hall, Room 102 at 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Early arrivals may begin as early as 10:00 a.m.Prizes:
High Team - Certificate
High Individual - Certificate and Scholarship
Second High Individual - Certificate
