The SUNY-Morrisville Aquaculture Center

The bulk of our grow out is in 1400 gallon circular tanks.

Or ponds are used for broodfish and additional grow out.

We maintain broodstocks of brook, brown and rainbow trout, and chinook salmon.

We also raise hybrid tilapia.

Tilapia are raised in recirculating systems, some with hydroponics, designed and built by our students.

Morrisville students run every phase of AQ Center operation, from water quality testing

to harvest.
