Like many colleges and universities, Morrisville State College faculty members possess impeccable credentials, including doctoral and master’s degrees. Our faculty, however, is also comprised of highly qualified and experienced instructors certified as professionals in their fields. For instance, the culinary classes are taught by a certified executive chef, the gaming classes are conducted by experienced casino professionals certified by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board and the state’s Gaming Commission. Each of our faculty members has amassed extensive professional experience in a casino, hotel, restaurant, resorts or recreation-based facility and is a respected member of the tourism and hospitality fields. In addition, faculty members have been recognized through national and regional awards such as the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, the NISOD Award for Teaching Excellence and an honorary doctorate. Widely recognized for their personal commitment to their students, our faculty members maintain active memberships in professional organizations.
