A business administration degree from the Morrisville State College School of Business provides students with the academic background and “real world” skills that are critical in understanding the ever-changing business world. The business administration programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
To prepare students for transfer into baccalaureate degree programs or entry into the workforce, the Business Administration degree is part of the ThinkPad University curriculum, in which the use of laptop computers, the Internet, and current business software is highly integrated into the coursework.
This program is designed to develop the broad understanding and attitudes needed by men and women to qualify for a wide range of positions. One-third of the curriculum consists of general education requirements, with the remaining two-thirds consisting of core business and related requirements, such as accounting, business law, human resources, management, and communications.
Typically, graduates earning an associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degree in business administration have a range of options. About 50 precent of recent graduates have moved to positions in the workforce in marketing, finance, human resources, or a management training program in a wide range of industries. Students who wish to pursue a bachelor degree may choose to do so at Morrisville State College or transfer to another institution.
