Students in the Gaming and Casino Management program will also take courses from faculty in the hospitality department.

Our faculty, however, is also comprised of highly qualified and experienced instructors certified as professionals in their fields. For instance, the culinary classes are taught by a certified executive chef, the gaming classes are conducted by experiences casino professionals certified by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board and the state's Gaming Commission.
Each of our faculty members has amassed extensive professional experience in a casino, hotel, restaurant, or a specialized facility and is an accomplished veteran of the tourism and hospitality fields. In addition, faculty members have been recognized through national and regional awards such as the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, the NISOD Award for Teaching Excellence and honorary doctorate. Widely recognized for their personal commitment to their students, our faculty members maintain active memberships in professional organizations. Morrisville State College, for example, is a member of the Casino Management Association.
