The instructional program in Electrical Engineering Technology at Morrisville State College is intended:
  • to have students explore the exciting world of analog and digital electronics, electrical power and computing to qualify them for well paying jobs in technology, manufacturing, or to prepare them for continued education in the technologies of the future.
  • to give the students the necessary tools and motivation such that they can continue to learn independently after graduation.
  • to provide the necessary scientific and technical fundamentals such that graduates will succeed if and when they transfer after graduation to an upper division school of technology.
  • to make the students aware of modern techniques of problem solution, without sacrificing their ability to produce solutions using more classical approaches.
