Morrisville Campus Orientation

Orientation events are for new freshmen and new transfer students to Morrisville State College. Students should plan on arriving by 8 a.m. and remain for the entire program.

The first mailing of the Orientation registration packets were sent in mid-May to all accepted students. If you have paid your $100 admission deposit you will be able to register on-line using your username and pin # on Web for Students.

If you have NOT paid your admission deposit and plan on attending Summer Orientation please contact the admissions office.

On-line Orientation registration will begin on MAY 19th on Web for Students.

Overview

Orientation will be a ONE day event that will enable students/parents to:

• Complete Financial Aid
• Meet faculty/Review Fall course schedule
• Meet other students from your residence hall
• Turn in health/immunization records
• Get I.D. photos taken
• Receive laptop/Nextel cell phone information
• Have questions answered from numerous offices on campus, including:
  
  
  • Business Office
  • Financial Aid
  • Student Health Center
  • Residence Life and Housing
  • Student Activities
  • Morrisville Auxiliary Corporation (MAC)
• Order your textbooks via Text Express
• Find a part time job with MAC

Students/parents travelling from further distances may want to consider arriving the night before as Orientation will be beginning promptly at 8 a.m.

Morrisville Campus Summer Orientation Dates

There are four schools of study at Morrisville State College. To determine which school of study your major is represented in, please refer to the "Majors by School" chart.

• Tuesday, July 8 - School of Liberal Arts
• Wednesday, July 9 - School of Science & Technology
• Thursday, July 10 - School of Business
• Friday, July 11 - School of Agriculture & Natural Resources

• Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
