Power structure, class and caste urbanization, minority groups, and the effects of technological change concurrent with urban growth. Family, peer group, gang and slum subcultures as influences in development of the delinquent role. Methods of prevention, treatment and correction.
Prerequisite: PSYC 101 or SOCI 101
