Topics include: Review of basic arithmetic skills, Properties of the real number system, terminology, and vocabulary; Solving linear equations and inequalities in one variable; Literal equations and applications of algebra; Integer exponents; Operations on Polynomials; Factoring; Operations on Rational expressions; Graphing linear equations. (TI30 required)
Prerequisite: SKLS 091 (C or better required) or equivalent
3 credits* (3 lecture hours), fall or spring semester
