RENG 315 - Biomass Energy Resources II
This course builds on RENG 210/310 Biomass Energy Resources, with more emphasis on dedicated energy crops and woody biomass production systems. This course provides the student with a scientific and technical understanding of biomass energy crops and production systems with a focus on: dedicated energy crops establishment, site preparation, and planting methods; and harvesting, pre-processing and handling of agricultural and woody biomass crops as feedstocks for biomass-to-energy conversion systems. Prerequisite: RENG 210 or RENG 310 3 credits (2 hours of lecture and 3 hours of laboratory), spring semester
