| A consideration of problems confronting 21st century civilization. Topics include institutional problems within family, economic, political, religious and educational systems, as well as the effect of these problems on individuals. Globalization is a central organizing theme of the course. Prerequisite: HIST 101, HIST 102, HIST 103 or SOCI 101 3 credits (3 lecture hours), fall or spring semester These credits count toward the Social Sciences (list C) requirements for graduation. | ||
