SPAN 101 LN1: Beginning College Spanish I

This course is for students who have not previously studied Spanish and who are not familiar with the language. Using a communicative approach with a variety of listening, speaking, reading and writing activities, students will become familiar with the basic structure and vocabulary of the Spanish language. Elements of Hispanic culture, customs and geography will be introduced. Note: No one who has passed the high school Regents Spanish exam may take this course. This course is not designed to meet the needs of heritage or native speakers of Spanish.
