Agriculture Programs
Morrisville State College’s agriculture programs provide you with the knowledge and skill to become successful in a wide range of areas. Depending on your long-term academic goals you have the option of studying general agriculture or concentrating more fully on one aspect of the field.
All Agriculture programs offer you access to state of the art facilities including a free stall dairy complex, 200-head heifer facility and calf greenhouses, Global GPS/GIS for crop research projects, an 11,368 square foot greenhouse, an aquaculture center, welding laboratory, three indoor/outdoor riding arenas and a wildlife management area.
Upon graduation you will have the experience and know how to choose from a wide range of careers in agriculture. Popular career paths include veterinary medicine and plant and animal science, breeding or genetics.
You may also choose to work as a farm manager, animal nutritionist, and salesperson or continue your education at colleges such as Cornell University, SUNY of Environmental Science and Forestry, Rutgers University, or others.
