Why Morrisville?

“ I chose Morrisville because I really liked the small campus. The equine facilities are beautiful and I felt very welcomed on my first visit. ”

What activities have you been involved with on and off campus?

“ I work in the Admissions Office and have been involved with the Hunt Seat riding team. I help with the college plays, and hope to perform in the upcoming musical. ”

What "fun fact" can you tell us about Morrisville that is not well known?

“ In the late 1800's the infamous Loomis Gang was caught and tried in the jail that is now called Madison Hall. ”

What MSC professor has influenced you and why?

“ Drs. Tiffany and William Day are the most knowledgeable and pleasant professors I have had. Erin Eldridge has been a joy to be in class with, and she has helped me become a stronger rider. She also taught me that I have natural instincts and to trust my decisions. ”

What has been your favorite campus event or activity?

“ I love the mechanical bull and the sky diving simulator. I really like the weekend movies in the theatre. ”

What are your plans after college or your career goals?

“ My short-term plan is to train horses for clients or for sale barns. My long-term goal is to have a working and profitable barn of my own for lessons, training, boarding, and therapeutic riding. ”
