Mechanize your options.

If you are mechanically inclined, SUNY Morrisville offers two paths to a career in agricultural mechanics that allow you to choose from several great options.

If you’re planning to return to the farm or to work in another agricultural business after two years of study, our agricultural mechanics Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree program is for you. With a choice of options in agricultural business, dairy equipment technology, small power equipment, auto mechanics, animal science, agronomy or horticulture, this degree prepares you to work in sales and service of farm machinery.

You also will have a variety of extracurricular opportunities to further enhance your college experience, including the Agricultural Engineering Club, Collegiate FFA and the Dairy Club.

If you plan to seek a managerial position in agricultural mechanics or engineering, our Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in agricultural engineering technology will prepare you for transfer elsewhere to a bachelor’s degree program.
