Description: Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine fish culture duties at captive broodstock fish hatchery. Responsibilities include: feeding fish, weighing fish food, cleaning fish rearing containers, stocking catchable size rainbow trout, grounds and equipment maintenance. Occasion field travel, weekend work rotation. Possible dormitory style housing avaialble.
Anticipated start date of May 21, 2012.
Qualifications/Skills Needed:
Course work in a Natural Resource/Biological Science field strongly preferred but not required. Previous fish hatchery experience a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle responsibility, and work in all weather conditions. Must be able to work for long periods in and around cold water. Must have a valid driver's license. All fish stocking vehicles are heavy duty trucks with manual shift transmissions.
