You've Chosen a Major but Haven't Decided on the College
- Try to make your decision as soon as possible, or at least get your list down to 3 choices since different colleges can sometimes have slightly different requirements even for the same major.
- Check the Morrisville State College catalog for a complete listing and description of all the transfer-oriented programs. Follow the appropriate degree program for your major.
- Students officially placed in Morrisville degree programs should be working closely with their faculty advisors. Advisors can help with graduation requirements and in choosing electives that will be good transfer choices.
- Make use of the many resources (books, magazines, computer programs, websites, etc.) in the Counseling Center and Library to assist you in selecting a college that's right for you.
- Watch for the transfer events (college Transfer Days, college rep. visits, guest speakers on transfer-related topics, etc.) scheduled during the fall and spring semesters.
- Contact the colleges you're most interested in to schedule campus visits and tours. Check if they have any upcoming Open Houses that you can attend. Remember to have a list of questions prepared ahead of time to make sure you get all the information you need.
