Faculty Recruitment Initiative
The Faculty Recruitment Initiative will establish a fund that
will be used to increase the diversity among faculty and staff
at Morrisville State College by supporting these activities:
• Advertisement in Minority Journals for all positions
available at the college
• Transportation for qualified candidates to job interviews
• Providing support for underrepresented doctoral students
who are in the dissertation stage through to degree completion
• Providing low interest loans or grants to underrepresented
faculty and staff to move into the local community.
• Spouse recruitment and/or placement in local community
college or area businesses
• Social interactions that involve community, such as
picnics, festivals, and cultural exhibitions.
