Equine Rehabilitation Center

Built in 2011, the Equine Rehabilitation Center offers injured equine athletes rehabilitation techniques and equipment designed to help them recover post injury or post-surgery while maintaining physical fitness with low impact exercise, and also provides the latest and greatest equipment to keep healthy horses conditioned.

The new facility made way for a new equine rehabilitation therapy option in its existing equine science bachelor degree program, giving students more ways to enhance and reach out to the equine industry. Students are actively involved in implementing treatment and therapy plans developed by a veterinarian and overseen and monitored by faculty and licensed veterinary technicians.
