Relkoff named SUNYAC Goalie of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College senior netminder, Caylin Relkoff (Grand Forks, BC), has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Goalie of the Week for the week ending November 7.

Relkoff collected 79 saves and a .952 save percentage in two conference wins for the Mustangs over the weekend, as Morrisville State defeated Brockport and Geneseo.

In the 8-2 victory over Brockport on Friday, Relkoff turned away 32 for a .941 save percentage in net. He followed with a 47 save (including 23 in the final period) and .959 save percentage performance in the upset 3-2 victory over Geneseo on Saturday to keep the Mustangs undefeated in conference play.

In his career with the Mustangs, he has played in 63 games (3482 minutes) and has posted a program best 1,958 saves.

The human performance and health promotion major at Morrisville State has received numerous academic accolades, including SUNYAC Commissioner’s List and All-Academic Team honors, and is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa honor society.

Relkoff is the son of Anne Robertson and Ken Relkoff of Grand Forks, British Columbia.

Morrisville State College offers more than 80 bachelor and associate degrees and options. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the nation for its ThinkPad University program and wireless technology initiative, the college recently became the first in the nation to comprehensively replace landlines in residence halls with individual cellular phones. The Morrisville State College Norwich Campus offers associate degree programs in accounting, business, computer systems technology, office administration, liberal arts transfer, nursing, early childhood, criminal justice and human services to south central New York residents and employers. Students may also apply coursework to other associate or bachelor degrees at the main campus.
