Morrisville State men drop road contest to Cobleskill

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men’s basketball team dropped to 2-5 overall, 1-2 in conference action, as SUNY Cobleskill picked up the 70-46 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory Wednesday night in Cobleskill.

Morrisville State trailed 35-24 at the break before being outscored by 13 in the second half in the loss.

Dwayne Wade (Beacon, NY) and Londel Lennon (Hartford, CT) each netted 13 to lead the Mustangs with Hodges Sneed (Syracuse, NY) pacing Morrisville State on the boards with eight.

Craig Orner led Cobleskill with 16, as teammates Brendan Doherty added 14 and Haneef Scott 10 in the win.

Morrisville State returns to the court Saturday, hosting SUNY IT at 3 p.m.
