MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its 2010-11 men’s basketball conference championship bracket yesterday, seeding Morrisville State College fifth.
The Mustangs completed the regular season with a 12-12 overall record, 10-8 in conference play, and will face fourth seed Gallaudet University (16-9, 12-6 NEAC) Friday at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.
Gallaudet recorded both wins over the Mustangs during the season, the latest an 85-77 decision in Morrisville.
The winner will advance to the semi-final against top seed and host Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday at 4 p.m.
The tournament seeding is as follows: 1 – Penn State Harrisburg, 2 – SUNY IT, 3 – Wells College, 4 – Gallaudet, 5 – Morrisville, and 6 – SUNY Cobleskill.
