Jarvis earns All-SUNYAC honorable mention honors

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2010-11 Ice Hockey All-Conference teams, with Morrisville State College’s freshman defender, James Jarvis (Pickering, ONT), earning honorable mention honors.

Jarvis completed the season with five goals and 10 assists for 15 points, ranking fifth overall in freshman scoring in the conference, sixth in defenseman scoring. Three of his scores were on the man advantage.

Morrisville State finished the season with an 11-13-1 overall record, 8-7-1 in SUNYAC play, and advanced to the conference championship tournament for the second consecutive year.

Jarvis is a 2007 graduate of Pine Ridge Secondary School and is majoring in architectural studies and design at Morrisville State College. He is the son of Sabine and Ian Jarvis of Pickering, Ontario.
