O’Hara named Mustang Athlete of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College athletics department has named Keely O’Hara (Cazenovia, N.Y.) it’s Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 11.

O’Hara notched two blue ribbons in the final hunt seat equestrian show on Saturday, claiming the top honor in the open equitation on the flat and open equitation over fences classes, while qualifying for the regional championships in both.

O’Hara also collected reserve show champion honors as Morrisville State finished third overall at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Invitational held in Morrisville.

O’Hara is a graduate of Skaneateles High and is majoring in equine science and management at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Suzanne McGowan and Deege O’Hara of Delphi Falls.
