Entrepreneurs will share business success stories during Entrepreneur’s Jam at Morrisville State College March 22

MORRISVILLE, N.Y.—Five young, local entrepreneurs will share their business success stories during Morrisville State College’s Entrepreneur’s Jam March 22.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 1 p.m. in the Little Theatre of the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities (STUAC).

Speaking are:
Kimani Smith, of Pyramid Brokerage Co., Class of ’10, entrepreneurship and small business management bachelor degree; Class of ’07, business administration associate degree.
Paul Farnham, of In Motion Designs, Inc., Class of ’10, entrepreneurship and small business management bachelor degree; Class of ’07, business administration associate degree.
Karl Driesel, of KDI Woodworking, Class of ’09, entrepreneurship and small business management bachelor degree; Class of ’07, wood products technology associate degree.
Kathryn Hunt, of Fashion Geek for Hire, a student in Morrisville State College’s entrepreneurship and small business management bachelor degree program.

“Entrepreneur’s Jam is a day of celebration and learning for the field,” said Cydney Johnson, assistant professor, School of Business. “It’s a great event for the college’s entrepreneurship program and it also aligns with our mission for entrepreneurship and community engagement.”

The event, funded through a grant from the Kauffman Foundation, will kick-off with a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. in the athletic stadium hospitality suite, followed by presentations at 1 p.m. in the STUAC theatre and a reception at 4 p.m. at the Copper Turret Restaurant in Morrisville featuring Good Nature beers.
