Larkin, Plummer named to All-Tournament Team at Potsdam College Cup

POTSDAM, N.Y. – After winning the consolation game against Hilbert College in the Potsdam College Cup, which concluded this past Sunday, Morrisville State men’s soccer players Joey Plummer (Rochester, N.Y.) and Rob Larkin (Clinton, N.Y.) were named to the SUNY Potsdam College Cup All-Tournament team.

Plummer, sophomore midfielder for the Mustangs, recorded a goal in the 3-2 overtime loss to SUNY Potsdam. He is studying Business Administration and is the son of Suzanne and Joe Plummer of Rochester, N.Y.

Larkin, freshman goalkeeper, went 1-1 in net for Morrisville State, tallying 12 saves in two games. Larkin was instrumental in securing the Mustangs first win of the 2012 season, a 2-1 victory over Hilbert College, as he made a pivotal save on a penalty kick.

Larkin is studying Diesel Technology and is the son of Shannon and Robert Larkin of Clinton, N.Y.
