Mustang volleyball struggles in 3-0 loss to Canton

CANTON, N.Y. – Visiting Morrisville State College women’s volleyball fell 3-0 to host SUNY Canton, Friday night in Canton, by final set scores of 12-25, 12-25 and 11-25 in non-conference action.

Morrisville State drops their third straight match and fall to 2-6 overall, while Canton
improves to 11-2.

Tiffany Jones-Maxwell (Hamilton, N.Y.) led the Mustangs attack game with four kills, as
Lindsay Easterly (Cazenovia, N.Y.) assisted nine on the night. Jerrae Morgan  (Manhattan, N.Y.) led the defensive efforts, registering a team high six digs on the night.

Canton posted 34 kills to the Mustangs nine total, while recording 13 service aces on
the night.

Morrisville State returns to the court tomorrow, playing the Roos in a second contest at 11 a.m. before facing Oswego at 12:30.
