Pierre-Louis named NEAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. –The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office has announced its weekly award winners, naming Morrisville State College’s Sanley Pierre-Louis (Gaithersburg, Md.) the Men’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.
The senior forward netted four goals in three games to lead the Mustangs to a 2-1 week, with both wins coming in conference play. After Morrisville State suffered a 1-0 non-conference setback to SUNY Canton Wednesday, Pierre-Louis exploded for a hat trick with three goals in a 5-1 conference win over Gallaudet University Saturday. He followed that up with what proved to be the game-winning goal in Sunday’s 3-1 victory over NEAC rival Penn State Harrisburg, with the score placing him first in the NEAC in goals scored (10) and in a three-way tie for second in total points (21).
Pierre-Louis is the son of Ronald Pierre-Louis and Marie Sonia Jean and is majoring in Technology Management at Morrisville State.
