Jones-Maxwell earns NEAC All-Conference honors

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its All-Conference Team selections, naming Morrisville State College sophomore middle hitter Tiffany Jones-Maxwell (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton) to its third team.

Jones-Maxwell led the Mustangs in hitting this season, posting 171 total kills in 23 matches played (.224 hitting percentage, ranked 9th overall in the conference). Eight times this season (six in conference action) she was in double figures for kills in the match, including a season high of 16 against Wells.

Along with her ability offensively, she was a defensive mainstay at the net, also recording 32 total blocks.

The 2010 Section III Class D Player of the Year is a graduate of Hamilton High and is majoring in individual studies at Morrisville State. An all-conference third team selection last season, Jones-Maxwell is the daughter of Christy Jones-Maxwell and Robert Maxwell of Hamilton.
