Davis named Mustang Athlete of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College athletics department has named junior forward, Mickey Davis (Syracuse, N.Y. / Jamesville-DeWitt) the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 10.

Davis led the men’s basketball team to two conference victories on the week, including a come-from-behind victory over rival Cazenovia on Saturday. Collectively he tallied 34 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and a steal in two games.

Davis is currently averaging 11 points per game for the Mustangs. He was a first team All-North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) selection last season, earning conference Player of the Year honors, along with several additional accolades.

The individual studies major at Morrisville State is a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High. He is the son of Margaret and Mickey Davis of Syracuse.
