Stanton named NEAC Women’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its weekly player of the week awards, naming Morrisville State College senior attack Sybil Stanton (Walton, N.Y.) the women’s lacrosse student-athlete of the week for the week ending March 10.

Stanton scored four goals on eight shots to go along with five draw controls in the Mustang’s lone contest this week, a tightly contested 12-9 non-conference loss to Elmira on Saturday afternoon.

To date on the season, she has tallied seven points on seven goals and collected seven draw controls, second-most in the conference.

The graduate of Walton High is majoring in entrepreneurship and small business management at Morrisville. She is the daughter of Rhonda and David Stanton of Walton.
