Morrisville State students receive Caterpillar/Milton CAT Scholarships

MORRISVILLE, NY—Four Morrisville State students have been awarded Caterpillar/Milton CAT Scholarships by the Morrisville College Foundation.

The $2,500 scholarships, awarded to students in the diesel technology programs, are based on academic achievement and financial need.

Receiving scholarships were the following diesel equipment technology students:
Jacob Drabolt, of Central Square, NY
Patrick Nash, of Liverpool, NY
Dean Tucker, of Chittenango, NY
Cody Brundage, of Douglas, Mass.

Caterpillar is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, industrial gas turbines, and diesel and natural gas engines. They donate and loan Morrisville State the most current diesel engines and equipment, allowing students to learn with the latest technology in the industry. CAT also offers student internships and hires many graduates.

Morrisville State sets the world in motion for students. Curricula are enriched with applied learning and pave the way for opportunity at both Morrisville and Norwich campuses. An action-oriented, interactive learning lab, the college is a national leader in technology. Lauded for its exemplary, innovative and effective community service programs, the college was named to the 2012 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
