Morrisville State College Offers Free Workshop on Landing Your Dream Job

MORRISVILLE, N.Y.—Want to feel more confident about looking for employment or the interview process?

Morrisville State College’s Workforce Development and Community Education Office is offering a free, three-hour workshop, Landing Your Dream Job, that may help.

Participants can choose to take the class on two different dates in two locations: March 30, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Career Center in the Wal-Mart Plaza in Oneida; or April 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at Morrisville State College’s Norwich Campus, 20 Conkey Ave., adjacent to the Eaton Center in downtown Norwich.

Topics will include dressing for success, networking, mock interviews, tips for staying employed and overcoming employment-related obstacles.

Space is limited and advance registration is recommended.

Morrisville State College offers more than 70 bachelor and associate degrees. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the nation for its ThinkPad University program and wireless technology initiative, the college recently became the first in the nation to comprehensively replace landlines in residence halls with individual cellular phones.
