Morrisville State to host fifth annual softball camp

Morrisville State College will be hosting its fifth annual softball camp, July 16 – 19 on the Morrisville State campus.

Students ages 10 – 17 years or fifth through twelfth grade are invited to attend the Morrisville State College campus for a four-day, professionally directed softball training camp. Campers will be instructed in form running and throwing progression, techniques and fundamentals of the infield and outfield play, and hitting each day.

Morrisville State College head softball coach Robin Penoyer will be joined by staff Ann Flis, Renee Clarke and Kim Nederluecke. Flis is a softball clinician throughout the Midwest, specializing in hitting techniques as well as defensive play. Clarke is a former USA National Softball team member and NCAA coach. Nederluecke is a high school coach, who has earned many championship titles and coaching honors at the NCAA level.

The camp will run Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19 from 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day. Cost for the camp is $175 and includes a camp t-shirt and lunch on campus.
