MORRISVILLE, NY— Morrisville State College University Police recently hosted a series of trainings for law enforcement agencies in Madison County on the college campus.

Partnering with the Madison County District Attorney’s Office and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office/STOP DWI program, they offered the following training:
• Identification Procedures: Best Practices, which covered how to conduct investigation procedures and the present law of identification procedures.
• The Anatomy of an Animal Cruelty Investigator, which focused on laws and ordinances dealing with animal cruelty and resources training available to law enforcement.
• Recurring Legal Issues in Madison County, which covered recurring local issues arising from various criminal law statutes. → Read more
