What clubs, student organizations and activities are available at MSC?
There are more than 40 clubs and organizations at MSC which encompass many specific interests and career objectives. Check out the Student Activites website to learn more about the different opportunities to become involved on campus.
How can my son/daughter get involved in campus activities?
The best way to discover more about a single group is to attend one of its meetings, visit the club advisor, or inquire in the Student Activities Office. Have your child watch for new-member recruitment and meeting announcements on campus for opportunities to get involved.
Will participation in extracurricular activities hurt my student's grades?
Participation in extracurricular activities will enrich college and life experiences. Being involved will challenge students to make decisions, solve problems, achieve personal and professional goals, and increase their level of satisfaction and sense of accomplishment. The level of commitment in any club or organization is up to the student.
How can I find out if my child can play on an athletic team?
MSC has 16 varsity sports and a variety of intramural/open recreation opportunities. To learn more about a specific sport, please contact the coach directly. Please visit the Athletics page to complete the recruit form for the sport(s) they are interested in.
