Campus Message

Dear Morrisville State College Community,

As many of you are aware, my service as Officer-in-Charge at Morrisville State College will conclude when Interim President Dr. William Murabito begins work at Morrisville in February. Chancellor Zimpher and the Board of Trustees have made a wise decision in appointing Dr. William Murabito, as he is an able administrator with a thorough knowledge of SUNY. I know that he will provide strong and effective leadership for MSC.

I am grateful to Chancellor Zimpher for the opportunity to serve as MSC’s Officer-in-Charge. It has been both challenging and rewarding, and I have enjoyed getting to know many of you and learning about MSC’s unique and special place in SUNY. Our two campuses have worked together for many years, and I know that the special relationships between faculty and staff established over the course of time will continue to serve students at both institutions well.

As we begin the New Year, Interim President Murabito will have my continued support. Morrisville is a great college with a proud history, and I look forward to continued cooperation between all our friends and colleagues at MSC and SUNYIT.
