About Chris Scalzo
Teaching Philosophy – I believe that a balance of theory must be taught with skills and practicality for the students to learn effectively and walk away with a mixture of practical work experience and possibilities.I have 16 years work experience in various industries and various fields. I have worked in both large companies such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Xerox and Harris Corporation and smaller companies that did such things as distribution, manufacturing and sales.
I believe students come to Morrisville for the same reasons that I chose to teach at this institution. The reasons include small classroom size, which provides the student with personal interaction with other classmates and the professor. A second reason is the balance of theory and the real world that creates a world of possibilities and practicality of real life projects that give students skills that can be discussed with future employers. Lastly, a student wants a professor that is enthusiastic about his classroom. I provide enthusiasm because I made a choice to teach here, and I would choose to do nothing else with my career.
