Agriculture businesses in the U.S. range from very small operations to large enterprises with annual sales in the millions of dollars. Whatever the size, all these business compete with local and international markets. To be successful in today's market place, farm managers and owners need to spend more time making decisions and developing management skills and new markets. Morrisville State College's bachelor of business administration degree in Agricultural Business Development provides students with the management skills needed to make effective decisions and develop markets for agricultural products.

The curriculum will allow students interested in agriculture to combine their knowledge of production agriculture with the business and marketing practices necessary to successfully operate consumer driven agriculture based businesses. Program graduates will have learned the skills to transform agriculture commodities and existing natural resources into saleable products for the benefit of both producers and consumers.
