Morrisville State College is committed to the promotion and expansion of agricultural business. As a part of this mission, the college has taken a number of steps to advance agricultural business. The college assisted with the development and creation of Nelson Farms and the Agribusiness Dairy Processing Plant; two state-of-the-art food processing facilities that operate in conjunction with the college. Nelson Farms is home to more than 300 specialty food product owners and designers. In 2005, the college was awarded a New York Farm Viability grant to develop an on-line farmer's market/storefront.
