Course Description
Infor. Systems Concept & Appl.Methods of selecting and acquiring hardware and software are covered in this course, as well as types of information systems: transaction processing, management information, decision support systems, stages in the system development process and implementation of a simulated computer-based information system. A case study and hands-on approach are used. Prerequisite: CITA 101 or 110 1 credit (3 lecture hours, meets for five weeks), fall and spring semester
