What advice would you give current students?

“I know it sounds cliché, but no matter how hard things may seem at the moment, you should always know that there is someone out there who has it worse than you do and that should be your motivation while trying to achieve your goals. There will be obstacles. There will be hardship, but when those times come around, focus on where you want to be in life and make that your motivation to continue working hard. Also be versatile and be teachable.”

Course Description

Human Resource Management

A course designed to analyze the problems, strategies and procedures in managing and assessing human resources in contemporary organizations. Special attention is given to problems in assessing abilities and performance, effective recruitment, selection and training, motivational strategies and developing the organization’s human resources. Special emphasis is placed on such topics as Equal Employment Opportunity, ethics, organizational development/teamwork, and total quality management. Prerequisite: BSAD 116 3 credits, spring semester

Admissions Requirements

First-year students
Minimum SAT scores of 550 math and 450 verbal.

Transfer Students Required
Transcripts to show successful completion of an A.A.S. or A.S. degree or 60 hours of lower division course work (from an accredited college or university) with a minimum GPA of 2.5. 
Completion of MATH 103 – College Algebra (C or better required) or equivalent prior to enrollment in the program.
