Course Description

Writing About Literature

Introduction to literature. Students learn the elements of literature by studying different genres to develop interpretive and analytical skills Pre-requisite C or better in COMP 101. 3 credits (3 lecture hours), fall or spring This course satisfies SUNY General Education Requirements for “Humanities”. These credits count toward the Humanities (List A) requirements for graduation.

Admissions Requirements

The Environmental and Natural Resources Conservation A.S. program will require a minimum of 64 credit hours of instruction. The specific required courses in the program will satisfy the general education requirements in eight areas or pillars.

A physical science requirement is satisfied with 8 credits of chemistry and/or physics. Students lacking high school chemistry will also be required to take CHEM 101-Basic Chemistry for preparation. A mathematics proficiency through Math 103 (Algebra & Trigonometry III) is required. Students must also complete at least 9 credits of NATR/ENSC/AGRO electives.
