Course Description
Practices of ArboriculturePractical education and experience in the establishment and care of trees and shrubs in the landscape. Emphasis on individual and small groups of plants in residential, campus and municipal settings. Students work in teams under close supervision. Major activities include tree appraisal, hazard tree management, pruning, climbing with rope and saddle, and planting. Co-requisite: NATR 160 1 credit (3 laboratory hours), spring semester
