An introductory electric circuits course for non-electrical majors. Course material covers basic DC and AC circuits utilizing resistors, inductors, capacitors, relays, and transformers. Students are taught to work competently with sinusoidal voltage expressions, sinusoidal phase displacement, complex numbers, complex impedance and circuit power factors. Pre or Co-requisite MATH 102, or permission of the instructor. 4 credits (3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours), fall semester
