Business Administration A.A.S.
The Business Administration A.A.S. degree from Morrisville State College provides students with the academic background and real-world skills that are critical in understanding the ever-changing business world. The Business Administration program is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business, sustainability, and entrepreneurship courses offered in the School of Agriculture, Sustainability, Business and Entrepreneurship at Morrisville State College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.
To prepare students for transfer into bachelor degree programs or entry into the workforce, the Business Administration A.A.S./A.S. degree is part of the ThinkPad University curriculum, in which the use of laptop computers, the Internet, and current business software is highly integrated into the coursework.
The Business Administration A.A.S. program is designed to develop the broad understanding needed by men and women to qualify for a wide range of positions. One-third of the curriculum consists of general education requirements, with the remaining two-thirds consisting of core business requirements, such as accounting, business law, human resources, management, and communications.
