Business Administration A.S.
The Business Administration A.S. degree from Morrisville State College provides students with the academic background and real-world skills that are critical in understanding the ever-changing business world. The Business Administration program is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business, sustainability, and entrepreneurship courses offered in the School of Agriculture, Sustainability, Business and Entrepreneurship at Morrisville State College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.
To prepare students for transfer into bachelor degree programs, the Business Administration A.S. degree is part of the ThinkPad University curriculum, in which the use of laptop computers, the Internet, and current business software is highly integrated into the coursework.
The Business Administration A.S. program is designed to develop the broad understanding needed by men and women to qualify for a wide range of positions. The associate in science degree in Business Administration requires half the course work to be divided among the humanities, the mathematics/science and the social science fields of study. The other half of the required course work consists of core business requirements, such as accounting, business law, human resources, management, and communications.
